This bloodtrail is 100% real. All the pictures, stories and video are exactly as it happened on the Pennsylvania season opener on Saturday, 10/2/99. To give your buddy Bill some experience at tracking, you let him go ahead and take point. You stay behind and mark 'last blood found.' This works out pretty well however blood sign is already becoming difficult to find and Bill is missing, and possibly trampling sign. This is going to be a difficult bloodtrail and you ask to take the lead. Bill understands and agrees with this decision. You come to an area where there is a splattering of blood on the ground. This is a good find but you need to confirm which direction the deer is still heading in. The trail forks off 5 yards in front of you. Please click on the picture below to expand it then study the blood sign. You should be able to tell which direction the deer is headed based on the blood alone. After you have studied the blood sign, you need to choose which direction the deer is headed.
