Interactive Bloodtrail Competition 1

An actual, recent, Bloodtrail
 Clue 9

This bloodtrail is 100% real. All the pictures, stories and video are exactly as it happened on the Pennsylvania season opener on Saturday, 10/2/99. We are going to step you through this extremely difficult trail to see what decisions you would have made. Good Luck!

Bill and you follow the tracks measuring the stride with a stick where there was no track. This led you along the waters edge until the track ran out and you split up. Bill found a drop of blood on the top of the bank - an indication that the deer moved into the thicket at this location. This is the break you were waiting for.

The deer entered into an area so thick, that it was impossible to stand up. You both need to get on your knees and literally 'tunnel' through this area of thickets and briars. Because of this position - knowing your bow will get caught on brush every step of the way, and since it has been nearly nine hours since this deer was shot, your next question is:

Do you leave your bow behind and continue trailing?
